I mounted the Caldwell bipod on my Savage Axis and couldn't be happier. I know someone mentioned that the pivot function on their bipod was a little noisy, but I found my pivot function utterly silent. Easy install and everything works as advertised. Best bipod for the money!

It is a great alternative to the more expensive Harris bipods. Not the same quality but I put it on my Rugger 10.22 and it works perfect for what my wife needs. The pivot feature is nice but its a little noisy. Not over whelming by any means but I see why the military or a hunter wouldn't use it. The adjustments are just as easy as the Harris models. Perfect for the bench at the range and I'm glad I bought it.

I probably wouldn't want to take this bipod to combat but for plinking at the range, it works great and is a great low cost alternative to higher priced models out there if your on a budget. I put mine on a 10/22 target model and it works great.
