This was our third year in the pwd and I wish we knew about the pro rail rider 3 years ago! There are many tools and tricks of the "trade", so to speak, and all are important. If you are considering this or are on the fence about whether you should invest in it I will say, "stop thinking about it and just get it!". Just make sure to follow all of the directions! We entered 3 cars in the district race this year and we used the pro rail rider on 2 of them. On one of them we saw a good improvement and theft other one tanked, like there were brakes on it. After the race we realized what happened. We did not follow the directions to a T and failed to use a dot of super glue in the axle slot / hole. So when or over-ambitious son spun the wheels after adding the graphite, one of the axles rotated and threw off everything. The other one went from way back in the pack to second place. 1 more race to go this year I will re-post after it with the results.

The Pro Rail Rider is used with the Pro Axle Press (not included) to align your axles to run straight or to tune them to use the new "Rail Riding" technique.
This tool in conjunction with the Pro Axle Press allows you to precisely bend your axles 15 or 25 degrees. It is simple and effective.
The Rail Rider technique is used to make one front wheel "ride the rail" thereby rolling straight down the track. Tests have proven this technique to yield superior speed over a car that hits the rail, comes off, hits again, etc.
