Lets start with the new features: old version loose thermometer NOW fixed built into the oven ++ Handles are much better easier to move the oven Griddle on top is very versatile comes with bulk tank hose! This Stove/Oven combo is great for Emergency preparedness, earthquake kits, or end of the world kits!! I can cook just about anything with no electricity or power. In my pictures you can see this thing comes OUT OF THE BOX ASSEMBLED, I cant stand hard to understand directions written in poor English... two pieces of tape, some plastic and I was cooking. The ease of use it 5 stars. This thing is super quiet and has a perfect flame on top. NOTE: when you light the oven part you just open the door and click it on and you can see if it is lit through... Camp chef has outdone themselves once again. The oven works much better than expected and the thermometer on the outside of the unit is surprisingly accurate. You can fit a 13x9 pan in it which was nice as we even made lasagna on our last outing with this stove. The grill on top is very nice it cooks evenly and is very easy to clean. This stove is a great compliment to my other Camp Chef stoves and a must for any car camper/hunting camp. Stove works great cooked rolls, brownies, cinnamon rolls, all were excellent. The burner on top worked well, keep it out of the wind, tends to blow out in a strong wind. The grill on top worked well also. Easy way to cook a meal in a camp site, I liked the way the propane attaches to the back of the unit. And for long camps the stove comes with a attachment hose for a propane tank with added fuel. I bought the storage bag for this stove, which is the same one for the smaller stove, it is tight. I took the feet rubber feet off the stove to get it to fit better. It would be nice to have a dedicated storage bag. I really like this stove, I plan on using it for car camping, and for cooking at home in an emergency. |
